My client is seeking an experienced BI Developer with a passion for data and visualisation to join their Analytic team. To be considered for this role you must be based in Malta and have a really strong knowledge and experience of SQL.

The Role
Reporting to the Lead Data Analyst, as a BI Developer you will:
• Implement business intelligence solutions by developing and maintaining reports and dashboards as per business owners’ requirements using SQL and Tableau
• Develop workflows to automate reporting processes and to build interactive processes that let stakeholders configure report parameters
• Act as a business intelligence subject matter expert by supporting colleagues in the creation of visualizations, along with the use and interpretation of data
• Train end users and write documentation on the use of data tools, with the aim of helping end users become self-sufficient
• Liaise with the Data Warehouse team to develop and implement business intelligence strategies and processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability
• Assist the data analysts with delivery of larger complex projects
• Handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain and support our reporting platforms
Your Expertise
• 2 to 3 years of work experience in business intelligence, building visualizations / dashboards based upon large data sets and/or experience working with complex queries
• Qualification in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, computer science, economics, finance, mathematics, or operations research
• Strong knowledge of SQL for reporting
• Experience in using visualisation tools such as Tableau or similar
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment whilst interacting with a variety of stakeholders from different departments and backgrounds
• Ability to work autonomously and proactively
• Ability to communicate data and technical ideas in writing and verbally, to both team members and non-technical colleagues
• A basic understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts will be beneficial in the role
• Some knowledge of programming, ideally Python and experience within the iGaming Industry would be considered an asset
